NVWE Notes: This is a delicious sparkler from a hot new vineyard and a debut winery. The mousse is surprisingly elegant and the aromas are a subtly harmonious perfume suggestive of bottled red cherries, dried red berries, nectarine pits, orange peel tea, white pepper and sweet biscuits. It is vibrant, pretty and satisfying on the palate, delivering notes of orange pastille, nectarine pit, dried strawberry and biscuits. The body is generous, the finish lingering and the character points toward service with saffron-steamed mussels. A blend of 85% Pinot Noir & 15% Chardonnay, 330 cases produced.
