Rich and ripe, this generous Cab delivers aromas of black raspberry, pomegranate molasses, dried fig and date in harmony with notes of toffee, vanilla and sweet forest floor scents. On the palate, sour red cherry, blackberry and a suggestion of pomegranate syrup counterpoint savory spice and some attractive earthy-foresty undercurrents. Those flavors carry through a lingering finish, where the tannins are well suppressed and the balance is food worthy. 400 cases produced.
