Dark plum, mulberry, sweet dark cherry galette, licorice root, toffee, peppercorn and graphite are all notable in the nose of this nicely evolved Merlot. It is full-bodied, ripe and slightly heady on the palate, where gutsy flavors of plum-mulberry compote, black licorice, toffee, coffee bean and hints of mint and graphite fan-out with appealing zest and linger well. It will be at its best with dark roasts and rich stews. 100% Merlot.
