Rich in texture, dinner-balanced and built to last, this is an impressive young Chardonnay. The aromas are a focused mélange of honey, baked apple crumble, preserved lemon and nutmeg scents of fine richness. Honeyed opulence is even more apparent on the palate, and it carries through a lingering, food worthy finish where piquant citric undercurrents and a subtle mineral strain bring a balancing counterpoint. Delicious already and certain to improve, it wants service with richly-sauced entrees.
