Even richer is fruit concentration than in oaky spice, this gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc finds a fine balance between intensity and harmony. The nose counterpoints ripe fruit notes of guava, golden fig, golden mulberry and nectarine with brighter ones of grapefruit and lemon grass, poising these above flinty minerality and a creamy rich background suggestive of baking spices and baklava. The mouth-feel is luxurious yet zesty, while the flavors center on lemon, stone fruits and oaky spice. The finish is long, if youthful, so this already delicious wine has another year or to of positive evolution ahead. 345 cases produced.
