Kerr 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
2022 Kerr Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
San Francisco Wine Panel 93+ Score Points
Forthcoming and rich in both fruit and spice, the nose offers aromas of black cherry, blood orange, boysenberry, purple plum galette, Campari, sweet hazelnut, baking spice and a hint of tobacco leaf in lovely harmony. It is as forthcoming on the palate, where juicy black cherry, pomegranate syrup and blood orange flavors join toasty oak notes in a slightly more gutsy melange. The finish is still a bit un-evolved as yet, but the wine will serve nicely right now with seared duck breast and the like. It will likely benefit from another eighteen to twenty-four months in the cellar. 219 cases produced with fruit from the Silver Eagle vineyard.
