Kerr 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
2019 Kerr Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
San Francisco Wine Panel Score 92+ Points
If still a trace coiled, the aromas of this fine Pinot are a focused, youthfully bright mix of black cherry, blood orange, dark rose, mace, sweet tobacco and baking spice scents. It is at once more piquantly fresh and more evolved in the mouth, where flavors of red plum, fresh cherry, pomegranate and whortleberry join mace, baking spice and some woodsy undercurrents. Lingering and already food-friendly, it will want another twelve to twenty-four months to bring all its pleasures to the forefront. 177 cases produced, from the Silver Eagle Vineyard.

Lush and inviting, with crushed plum and boysenberry reduction notes giving this a hedonistic profile. The toasted finish is coated with black licorice and sweet spices. For fans of the style. Drink now through 2027. 177 cases made. James Molesworth
