Impressively rich in both fruit and oaky spice and absolutely true to its great vineyard, the youthfully coiled aromas of this gorgeous 2021 Cab are a plush melange of black cherry, black raspberry, blackberry, dark rose, violet, licorice root, toasted cedar, clove, hazelnut nougat and dark earth scents. Black cherry, black currant and black raspberry dominate in the mouth, rising to center stage and sailing above a sweet-natured oaky-savory background. These same fruit notes hold center-stage through an extremely long and vibrantly youthful finish where the wine’s tannins are at best an afterthought. Delicious already, it should grow more lovely and satisfying over the next decade. 150 cases produced.
