Attractively structured, elegantly fruity and showing lovely focus and harmony, the nose of this sumptuous Cabernet offers the classic GIII aromas of boysenberry, sweet dark cherry and blackberry, with sweet tobacco, baking spice, cedar, clove and forest floor undercurrents. The lovely fruit holds prominence in the mouth, where sweet oaky spice, licorice root and kalamata olive flavors offer a generous contrast. The result on the mid-palate and finish is food worthy, supple, generous and lingering, and this already lovely bottling will give ever greater pleasure for another five years at minimum. 180 6-packs produced.
