2019 Kenefick Ranch Sauvignon Blanc “Estate Grown” Calisotga, Napa Valley
NVWE Notes: This delightful wine poises first rate fruit above a seductively creamy background. The aromas are a zesty melange of golden fig, golden mulberry, apple sauce, lemon curd, grapefruit zest, lemon grass, honey and nougat, with a suggestion of pineapple soufflé. Although the flavors are a bit more citric and seem slightly more youthful than the aromas, they deliver the same zesty-creamy appeal. The finish is quite long and adds a burst of grilled grapefruit to the mix. It will likely be even better in another year. 350 cases produced.
