Rich, ripe and very suggestive of its mountain locale due to a combination of dark fruit and hard minerality, this young Cabernet opens with forthcoming aromas of blackberry, black currant, dark plum jam and sour dark cherry poised above notes of black olive, Oolong tea and forest floor spice. These elements make a fruit-centric impression on the palate and through a very long, energetic yet mineral-laced finish. Likely to show its best with fatty steaks and roasts at this stage, it will grow ever mellower and prettier over the next two years. Blended with 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 1000 cases produced.
