NVWE Notes: This refreshing new release seems tight when the cork is pulled yet expands significantly as it airs, to layer elegant aromas of fresh apple sauce, grapefruit pith and poached pear above subtler undercurrents of green herbs and mineral salt. It is sleek and soft-edged in the mouth, where sea shell notes bring a harder contrast to more generous flavors  led by poached pear and pomelo sorbet followed by background hints of lavender and rosemary. The finish lingers well and the wine should grow ever more food-friendly over the next year. It could prove an intriguing match to fish or fowl served with a creamy, tarragon scented sauce. 400 cases produced.
