This is a ripe, rich, focused and rather creamy Pinot Noir with good depth and some cellaring potential despite its notable early appeal. The nose and flavors are a medley of cranberry sauce, black raspberry, Elephant Heart plum, dark sour cherry, roasted beet, licorice root, baking spice, canela and star anise. It is texturally rich yet zest brings a racy feel to the lingering, flavors that flesh out the finish. Ready to enjoy, it is food balanced yet a pleasure on its own.
