Hundred Acre 2022 Chardonnay Sun Also Rises   

Vibrant scents of the Sonoma coast waft from the glass in expressions of Meyer lemon crème, white donut peach, and caramelized pineapple mixed with baked Gravenstein apples and butterscotch wrapped in brioche. The palate is rich with mouthfeel and a wet slate foundation that unfolds to ginger, yuzu, and nectarine that finishes with exuberant acidity and intriguing length. 2023 brought a welcome sense of stability during the growing season. The temperatures remained consistent throughout the growing season, which in turn gave us even canopy growth, a near perfect fruit set, and allowed us to pick on the ultimate flavor profile. Mother nature kept the heat at bay coming into harvest which meant the flavors just continued to deepen and develop. The 2023 vintage is truly spectacular - elegant, poised, and stylish.
