Likely the finest version of this bottling yet produced, this is a gorgeous and notably well-priced Cab. The nose lines-up scents of blackberry, dark boysenberry, black currant, blueberry, peppercorn, graphite, cedar, mace, sandalwood and dark tobacco in chiseled focus. If clearly youthful, it is as boldly flavorful as could be hoped for on the palate, where the zest is delightful and the tannins beautifully polished. The black and blue fruits are a perfect mirror of the aromas and the lingering finish is silky. 2420 cases produced.
