Slightly exotic and notably generous, the aromas of this distinctive Pinot Noir come forth as a medley of red and purple plum compote, red raspberry, old fashioned strawberry-filled candy, coriander seed and mace poised above mineral undercurrents. These same flavor elements gradually roll-out on the palate, where grenadine and crushed rock minerality stiffens the mouth-feel. Tannins join with zest and minerality to firm the texture of the lingering finish. Another two or three years will round this wine into a more engaging stature although it has plenty of flavor already. 95 cases produced.
