Sporting aromas of red cherry, red currant and sweet cranberry poised above savory suggestions of vanilla, dark earth and dark tobacco, this wine already appeals. Star anise, baking spice and tobacco notes support the more dominant cherry and current fruit on the palate, where everything lingers with a soft and dinner friendly feel. Although it is notably attractive right now, another year or so of positive evolution is likely. Blended with 2% Petite Verdot.
