Aromatically generous, with fruit and barrel aromas in flashy harmony, this is an especially impressive Sonoma Cabernet. The nose is a complex melange of mulberry, dark plum cobbler, pomegranate molasses, hazelnut tart, peppercorn, dark pipe tobacco and pencil shaving scents. It is structured, quietly zesty and focused on the palate, where mulberry, plum jam, pomegranate molasses, dark toffee, pipe tobacco, bitter chocolate and hazelnut husk flavors create a lingering, food balanced harmony.
