From California’s second oldest Riesling vines and fermented on its skins, this “Orange Wine” is also memorable for its quality. The aromas are a gently tropical medley of peach, lemon peel, yellow rose and jasmine that are given a sharper edge by stony minerality. It is texturally rich on the palate, where piquant peach, apple skin, dried lemon peel and orange blossom flavors join a streak of tannin to create an almost tense mouth-feel. The finish is lingering and ultra dry, yet the lasting memory includes notes of candied orange and lemon peel. 125 cases made.
