This beautifully crafted Chardonnay is quietly rich, genteel and focused, with aromas of baked apple, white peach, pear tart and honey, with suggestions of nutmeg and hazelnut nougat joining harmony. It is ideally food-balanced and grows fuller and richer in the mouth, where its creamy oak flavors caress others of baked apple and yellow peach. The finish is quite long and delightfully supple, and its combination of racy balance and creaminess makes it a near ideal companion for sauced versions of fish or fowl.
