Deep, focused and densely packed, the nose of this fine Chardonnay offers aromas of tarte tatin, apple skin, golden berry, dried golden fig, honey, vanilla wafer, baking-spice an flint. It is fuller and a bit less tense on the palate, where more dramatic, tongue-coating flavors of honey, peach, apple, fig, preserved Meyer lemon, vanilla, nougat and flint/chalk mineral notes fan-out and linger impressively. Expect another eighteen to twenty-four months of steady improvement.
