This is an immediately seductive Zin, packed with almost heady fruit contrasted by a pretty spice and vibrant freshness. The nose is deep and focused, with loads of sweet red cherry, red raspberry, pomegranate, “red vines” licorice and violet scents counter-pointed by others of pink and Schezuan peppercorn poised above a gently mineral undercurrent. It is notably rich and vividly fresh on the palate and the finish is a super-long wave of textbook Russian River Zinfandel fruit and spice. A truly delicious drink by itself, it  should be just terrific with a fatty-spicy pork roast. 800 cases produced.
