Ripe and deeply layered, the nose delivers forthcoming aromas of dark cherry, cassis, mulberry, cedar, clove, dark pipe tobacco, graphite and forest floor scents in chiseled focus. It is structured and gripping on the palate, with great intensity and richness to flavors that never seem to fade. The captivating memory is of plush dark fruits and earthy spice. Expect this terrific Cab to grow ever finer over the next six to twelve years and be long lived. It will be outstanding at this point with Prime Rib.
