Forthcoming and well defined, the aromas of this dinner worthy Cab blend are a firm mix of sour dark cherry, cranberry sauce, black rasberry, peppercorn, mace, sandalwood, graphite and black tea leaf scents. All of these notes are evident on the palate, where the texture is sleek, the tannins notable yet polished and the fruit clearly at center stage. Everything lingers well and the wine is clearly designed for food service. Expect another two years of further evolution. A blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec, 8% Petite Verdot. 6% Merlot & 5% Cabernet Franc.
