Deep, if youthfully restrained, the gradually expansive aromas of this rich Zinfandel-based blend come forth as a medley of ripe Bing cherry, blueberry, dark plum, rattan and black peppercorn scents. Peppery yet supple, the flavors of red plum, dark cherry, black fig, pink and black peppercorn and bouillon linger with fine clarity. Likely ready within 12 months or so, it is well balanced for dinner service right away. A blend of 55% Zinfandel, 17% Mataro, 17% Grenache & 11% Carignane. 515 cases produced.
