Rich, yet both fresh and attractively spicy, the nose of this seductive wine melds aromas of grapefruit pith, gooseberry, guava, lychee, honeydew melon, white pepper and toasted meringue into an engaging harmony. It is creamy-rich on the palate, where bright, intense flavors of gooseberry, golden fig, grapefruit, guava, lychee and peppery spice counterpoint an otherwise plump texture. The finish is long and never less than satisfying and the flavors hold focus all the way. It is a pleasure to drink all by itself, but will be better still if served with Coquille St Jacques or Linguine con Vongole. 600 cases made.
