This forthcoming Pinot Noir opens with bright aromas of red raspberry, tart red cherry and lingonberry, supported by suggestions of mace, coriander seed baking spice and hazelnut. It is full flavored on the mid-palate, where the fruit and spice are attractively replicated, along with a quiet suggestion of sweet tobacco. It is quite tasty now, but shows a bit of tannin at the finish and fine concentration suggests that another eighteen to twenty-four months of improvement are likely.
