This is a complex, already well-evolved melange, which offers harmonious aromas of cherry galette, dark red berries, dry Michigan cherries, baked red plums, sweet toffee, vanilla, dried herbs and suggestions of fresh-cut mahogany, and bay leaf. On the palate, it delivers cherry pit, baked cherry, dry red plum, coffee toffee, hints of laurel and dried rosemary which continue through a satisfyingly complex, lasting finish. Food-worthy and already a fine dinner companion, it is a pleasure to drink, especially after a bit of airing. 100 cases produced.
