Attractively oaky and gently tart this bottling offers an aromatic mix of Bing cherry, black cherry, baking spice and hazelnut scents that are true to its appellation. It is focused and flavorful on the palate where a note of youthful zest counterpoints a richer core of red cherry and grenadine fruit. In the finish that focused fruit finds an engaging harmony with pretty notes of toffee and hazelnut nougat. It is dinner-balanced and likely to improve nicely over the next eighteen months or so.
