San Francisco Wine Panel Score 92 Points
Deep and juicy, the nose of this wine offers a forthcoming medley of blueberry, blackberry, black raspberry, black fig and black peppercorn, with emerging notes of dark toffee, oolong tea leaf, dark pipe tobacco, bresaola and roasted beet. It is as juicy and forthcoming as expected on the palate, where plush flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black raspberry, pomegranate and black peppercorn rise above undercurrents of savory spice and hard minerality. The tannins are polished and the finish lingers well, so it gives immediate pleasure. It is built for service with steaks, barbecued meats and the like. A blend ot 62% Petite Sirah, 18% Syrah, 18% Zinfandel & 2% Legrein.
