Fruity, fresh and forthcoming, the nose of this delightful everyday Cab offers an aromatic mix of blackberry, dark plum compote and black currant fruit, with genteel notes of vanilla and baking spice in support. It is medium-bodied and notably fruit forward in the mouth, where blackberry and black currant join cedar, hazelnut, bitter chocolate and a hint of sweet tobacco leaf. As the wine airs, the flavors seem to build, yet there is no suggestion of tannic roughness. An easy sipper, it will prove an amiable and versatile dinner companion. 1500 cases produced.
