Cru 2019 Albarino
NVWE Notes: Dried peach, apricot pit, preserved lemon, mineral scents, white pepper and a hint of quince are all visible in the nose of this brisk bottling. Things are as expressively fruity-zesty if more minerally on the palate, where the wine proves as refreshing as hoped. Sleek, fruity, chalky dry and lingering, this Albarino, like its overseas cousins, cries out for fishy appetizers and other salty treats. It should welcome-in many a holiday meal.
