This pretty Pinot noir has an elegantly focused nose of dark red cherry, pomegranate and lingonberry, with supporting savory notes of mace, hazelnut and baking spice. It is zesty yet even more forthcoming on the palate, where cherry, lingonberry and pomegranate take center stage while toasted oak, dark tobacco, baking spice and mineral flavors give quiet support. A hint youthfully reticent, but impressively long and very food-balanced, it will be better still next year and will certainly prove a fine dinner companion already. 400 cases produced.
