Primarily farmed from ancient vines, this Chardonnay can sometimes be stunning, as it is in 2019. The aromas are a complex, focused, quietly zesty mix of golden apple, golden fig, white peach cobbler, honey, vanilla and chalk scents. It is forthcoming, firm and concentrated on the palate where those same elements are richer, deeper and more impact full. The finish is food-balanced and packed with fig, peach, apple, honey, key lime and mineral flavors that linger impressively. As delicious as it is now, it is likely to be more so two years from now. 3500 cases produced.
