This lovely bubbly opens with an energetic cascade of tiny bubbles as prelude to the pleasures that follow. The nose offers lemon cream, peach melba, honey and chestnut scents of fine focus and impressive elegance. On the palate, the texture is both tongue coating and silky, while the promised flavors are faithfully delivered and build in intensity as the wine airs. The finish is quite generous yet never less than classy, and the wine finishes with a lovely push of peach, homey, lemon cream and toasted almond. It is ready to enjoy and is a notable value.
