This is a creamy-rich Cabernet that is impressively complex to the nose and on the palate where sweet-natured sour red cherry, cranberry sauce, pomegranate, red licorice and vanilla flavors accent a deeper core of black raspberry while notes of dried sage, laurel and toasted rosemary add both charm and depth. It is as vibrant but more tightly-wound in the long-lingering finish, as youthful zest and tannin firm things. If a delicious dinner wine already, it is likely several years from its peak.
