This intense Zin is notably young yet it already pours-forth its seductively juicy aromas in fine focus. The nose centers on notes of fresh pomegranate, red plum, hibiscus, pink peppercorn, mace and licorice, which soar above a background of crushed rock minerality. The aromatic virtues are also vibrantly apparent on the palate, where the food-worthiness of the fruit is equally obvious. The finish is long-lingering if youthfully restrained and the flavors are never less than vividly fruity and of pristine focus. It should drink brilliantly over the next five years. A blend of 70% Zinfandel and 30% Petite Sirah. 144 cases produced.
