Bright and youthful yet already deeply complex, the nose of this juicy Pinot Noir offers a racy harmony of boysenberry, raspberry, sour cherry, cranberry, hibiscus, tobacco and toffee scents poised above an earthy backdrop. It is full-bodied and almost gutsy, yet lean in mouth-feel, zesty and quietly gripping on the palate, where the concentrated core of fruit is less evolved but otherwise parallels the nose. The finish is extremely long and the proportion of intense, zesty fruit to earthy minerality is pinpoint. As fine as it is already, it is likely four years from is peak. 600 cases made.
