NVWE Notes: Expressive and full of savory depth yet fruit-centric, the nose of this fine Pinot melds creamy-zesty scents of sour red cherry, wild cherry, blueberry, teaberry, pomegranate, blood orange, baking-spice, pink peppercorn, star anise and yellow rose into a fine harmony. A strain of polished tannin is notable on the palate and it joins with the piquant fruit and dark mineral undercurrents to bring firmness and remind that BC wines love age. However, the wine is dinner-balanced, truly delicious already and super long, so its rush of cherry, blueberry, root beer barks, star anise, sandalwood, baking-spice and hints of forest mushroom gives reason to drink it as soon as desired.
