Rich in alcohol, yet both bright and surprisingly elegant, the nose of this complex red delivers scents of cranberry, pomegranate, red currant, pink peppercorn and coriander seed which line up in fine focus above a background of firming minerality. These same flavors are gutsier and more opulent on the palate, yet minerality keeps the texture on the firm side while fruit zest brightens the lingering finish. This one will show its best with fatty pork roasts and the like. 550 cases produced.
