This wine is textbook Bien Nacido in its aromatic mixture of fresh and baked apple, lemon cream, white peach, nougat, toasted oak spice and earthy undercurrents. It is very forthcoming in the mouth, both in fruit and spice, and its extremely long, if notably young. Although it is likely two years from its full maturity, its punch of finishing fruit, zesty balance and creamy texture make it an ideal foil to sauced fish or fowl right now. 200 cases produced.
