This wine delivers textbook Bien Nacido vineyard fruit in its aromatic mixture of fresh and baked apple, lemon cream, white peach, nougat, toasted oak spice and subtly earthy undercurrents. It is very forthcoming in the mouth, both in fruit and spice, and the finish is both extremely long and surprisingly youthful. As it begins to approach full maturity, its punch of finishing fruit, suggestions of honey-dipped nuts, zesty balance and creamy texture make it an ideal foil to sauced fish or fowl. 200 cases produced.
