Rich and focused, the nose of this fine mountain Chardonnay poises a medley of Fuji apple, white peach, gooseberry, lemon zest, grapefruit, vanilla wafer and hazelnut scents above a harder mineral undercurrent. It is plush and forthcoming on the palate, where the harmony of baked apple, dried golden mulberry, pineapple core, white peach, grapefruit zest, white rose, brioche and vanilla flavors are gently firmed by seashell-like minerality. The finish is lingering and food-worthy and this ready to enjoy  mountain Chardonnay should make a terrific partner to seared scallops, Quennelles Nantua and the like. 252 cases produced.
