This delightful bottling is gorgeously fruity-floral to the nose, where vibrant scents of grenadine, blood orange, violet, Mr. Lincoln rose and pink peppercorn rise above a deeper core of red plum compote and a background of cutting minerality and vibrant if soft-edged zest. All of these elements are as vivid on the palate, where minerality and piquantly fresh fruit create a cutting edge to counterpoint the upfront and lingering flavors that so accurately mirror the nose. This is a splendid dinner wine that will be perfect with traditional pork roast and prove as terrific with a variety of ethnic dishes, such as grilled  Vietnamese pork or beef. Planted in 1910. 550 cases produced.
