One finds a graceful balance in this elegantly expressive wine. The nose is a rich and harmonious medley of pineapple core, lemon sorbet, baked green apple, quince paste and tropical scents supported by contrasting notes of toasty hazelnut meringue and sea shell salinity. That salinity joins bitter-sweet hazelnut flavors to bring  firming and drying counterpoints to the wine’s stylish panorama of luxurious fruit. The finish is very long and very dry, and if the wine is likely 6-12 months from its full expression it is notably food worthy already and is destined to be especially satisfying with sauced fish or fowl.
