Bedrock Rosé “Ode to Lulu” California 2019
NVWE Notes: This delicious Rosé  is complex, floral, mineral-laced and attractively elegant, despite its obvious youth. The nose is a genteel perfume of wild strawberry, watermelon, red currant, grenadine, cranberry, papaya, mango, pink rose, coriander, white pepper and mineral scents. It is piquantly bright and forthcoming on the palate, where hard mineral notes firm up the its Bandol-esque textural creaminess, focused fruit and pretty spice. The finish is lighthearted, and the flavors linger, with a lovely rush of papaya and pink peppercorn at the end. Delicious now, it will be even better this time next year.
