Picked riper than the racy 2019 Aubry, this fine Cab centers offers a harmony of blueberry, boysenberry, black cherry, clove, vanilla, dark pipe tobacco and baking spice scents. Fruit zest and tannin serve to tighten the mouth-feel and bring firmness to the long-lingering flavors of dark cherry, blueberry, clove, tobacco and graphite that dominate on the palate. Certainly an attractive dinner wine at this point, it wants another few years to bring all its promised elegance to the forefront. Blended with15% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. 91 cases made.
