NVWE Notes: The aromas of this lovely Chardonnay are a complex yet genteel melange of baked green apple, dried peach, quince, tarte tatin, pear liqueur, kumquat marmalade, nutmeg and hazelnut scents. It is both gently tongue-coating and attractively piquant in the mouth, where all the aromatic promise is brought into a pretty harmony. The finish is very long and perfectly food-balanced. Delicious enough now to pair with fancy-sauced fish or fowl, it will hold its many virtues through several more years in the cellar.
