Rich in aroma, with focused black current, blueberry, mulberry, licorice root, toffee, sandalwood, and dried herb aromas, with flavors in tandem. It proves as rich in texture as hoped, with fine polish, but appropriate tannic grip for its scale and a very long finish. A notable value, it is built for food service and drinks nicely on its own already. Expect another year or two of positive evolution.  A blend of Cabernet grapes from St Helena, Rutherford and Coombsville. 531 cases produced.
