A lush oaky, creaminess supports deeply immersed fruit in the nose of this luxurious bottling, as notes of poached pear, baked apple, yellow peach, lemon cream pie, baking spice and hazelnut meringue find harmony. These elements are on display on the palate as well, and through a lingering finish where pear and apple are main themes. The wine is well suited for service with richly sauced entrees already, yet it will likely round even more into form if allowed another twelve to 18 months in the cellar. Less than 650 cases produced.
