Delicately creamy, focused and already seductive, the nose of this pretty wine fans out aromas of lemon cream pie, tarte tatin, Meyer lemon zest, nutmeg, baking spice and a hint of chalky minerality. The lemony zest brings freshness and gentility to an otherwise creamy texture and counterpoints textbook “Rued” apple, lemon sorbet, pineapple, baking spice and vanilla cream flavors. Already delicious, if probably a year from its full expression, it finishes with a delightful suggestion of pineapple soufflé. 100 cases produced.
